When I came to SCPT I wasn't sure what to expect. I have been pretty fortunate to never have any injury requiring PT. Holly and Megan were the PT who worked on my lateral and medial torn meniscus. I wasn't able to walk or stand for long periods. Most activities of daily living were difficult. During these past 3 months going to this PT office has changed my life. In the summer going into Sophomore year of highschool I was a very dedicated basketball player for San Juan hills. I partially tore my AC joint in my shoulder and couldn't play. After a month in a sling I went to San Clemente physical therapy and was back out on the court and surfing after a month. They gave me personalized exercizes and I was pushed to strengthen and prepare my shoulder for the needs of playing a very physical sport.
I have received excellent care for my post-operative knee rehabilitation (ACL reconstruction surgery). Had 3 years of experience with different physical therapists prior to surgery, so I can say with confidence that the office staff and Physical therapists here are exceptionally knowledgable, very experienced, and very capable. They care about your questions, your concerns, and are centered on what the patient's needs and abilities are. I had a lot of built up anxiety for my 1st appt post-surgery and my PT sensed this without my even voicing this, they were so gentle and assuring in all the things we did and this has continued to be the case.
