“I cannot recommend JR more! He approaches massage with such an educated whole body approach that really works. He'll do stretches, or release tension behind my arms that I didn't realize was causing my neck pain - it's like seeing a chiropractor without any risk. I always feel incredibly relaxed AND have my issues resolved after seeing him! And he's super kind and personable - I sometimes struggle to voice my preferences for pressure during massages (recovering people-pleasure here!) and he is excellent at checking in, as well as super responsive if something changes throughout. In-symmetry itself is also super easy to book (and reschedule, because working parent life is real), and the space is lovely. I've been coming here for years! The owner has always been super responsive if there are issues, like a last minute illness or scheduling miscommunication. Parking can be tough, but there's a bike loop right out front. And sometimes I stroll over to Tartine Manufactory afterwards for a post-massage bliss lunch.“

“I've had maybe two expensive facials in my entire life... at least I thought I had. After a ton of research on yelp and through various sites, I decided on Halee based on reviews and prompt availability. Now I finally learned what a real facial is. Let's break this down by stars. Star #1: Scheduling: prompt, clear and concise communication. Was super easy scheduling an appointment. Star #2: Atmosphere. Quaint, light, relaxing and inviting. It's a medium sized room within a facility and everything was cute, sassy, organized, and super clean. Minimalistic and concise equipment that all looked modern and updated. Bed was extremely comfortable, heated, and there was a proper place to put your things. Sudden extreme comfort coming here. Naps are a risk factor. Star #3: flexibility. I didn't know exactly what I needed, but I was able to schedule 3 services: facial (of some kind. I was originally thinking microdermabrasion) lash lift, and teeth whitening (wasn't sure if I needed it). There was no charge in changing the services I ended up receiving. Star #4: knowledgable. Halee impressed me as soon as I arrived. She told me what to expect and when I admit I was naive to facials, skin care etc. she told me she would take a look at my skin and let me know what she thought. The way she explained everything made me realize the magnitude of how much there is to know about products, skin, reactions, results and more. I have never in my life been more fascinated about skin care and the depth of the cosmetology world. It's amazing. Star #5: results. Halee advised me not to do the microdermabrasion facial because my thin skin would react negatively and because my concerns of hyperpigmentation were mild. Instead she gave me a cleansing facial and in the end... my face looked waaaaay more even toned, clear, bright and vibrant. I felt I looked 5 years younger afterwards and my face felt so hydrated and healthy the remainder of the day. Even days later it feels great and I've received many compliments already. In general, people often tell me I look 10 years younger than I am, but now I really feel like I do which has been such a positive lift to my confidence. I literally did not know a facial could do that. Speaking of lifts, the lash lift is something I will 100% continue to do. Instantly larger more open and youthful eyes. I look forward to returning for my next one in a couple of months. As for the teeth whitening, Halee didn't recommend it. She said my teeth are fairly white from the products I use at home already so results from the treatments would probably be minimal. Which leads to the final star.. Star #6: Genuineness. I wish I could give a 6 star rating because Halee truly deserves it. She absolutely wants the best for her clients and will go above and beyond to care for them, advise them, and get to know them. I was (and still am) very naive to skin care, however Halee has helped me so much by pointing me to products (not upselling but actually making recommendations for my type of skin) and I am so appreciative to have an expert in skincare I can turn to. So so so grateful I met her and I look forward to working with her again and again. Thank you Halee!!!“

“I made a last minute appt as I needed an urgent myofascial release recommended by my doc. I had never been to M Spa and was surprised how nice it was inside. They even have a small steamroom. The staff are extremely courteous and my therapist Kasey was extremely talented and was able to address all my issues. I will definitely be back.“

They were incredibly patient, taking the time to explain everything I needed to know. They encouraged me to start with simple steps until I felt comfortable with my treatment.

I can't say enough good things about this space! I'm also doing laser hair removal here; I've been getting laser treatments for over four years now, just twice a year for maintenance or minor touch-ups. Their laser is amazing—completely painless!

“I haven't had lash extensions in a while since I recently moved to SF and tend to be super picky about how I like my lashes. I'm usually scared of new lash techs but Kay really took time to listen to what I want and reviewed photos of previous sets I had. She sat me down and went through the different types of lashes she had and we settled on "Rabbit" since it's less curly and thinner. The entire classic set took about 90 minutes and they look amazing! They look natural and fit my eye shape well. One of my biggest concerns about eyelash extensions is looking weird without makeup but the set I got here looks good even without makeup.“
