“Today, I was blessed with a miracle. I've been shedding hair like a dog. There's hair all over the kitchen floor, the banyo floor, on my pillow, on my plate, on my computer... hahaha! So, I've started making some calls 2 days ago. After calling 3 salons, the internet led me to a barbershop. And when I called to explain that I was doing chemo and my hair has started falling out, and I wanted to shave all the remaining hair off. I asked if they do that. And the guy said they do and he would actually be happy to do it for free. For FREE!!! His kindness felt so good to my soul. I felt welcomed. Understood. And seen. He even offered to open the shop early so that there won't be too many people and for a bit more privacy. What a kind gesture. Tools were sterilized and sanitized. He was very gentle. No nicks at all. Smooth, clean, full head shave. While sharing stories and getting to know each other. Time passed by and it was an overall enjoyable experience. I had my mask on the whole time.
