I had to give a review. I am so happy I stumbled upon this Yelp page and found Julie, who was absolutely wonderful and so sweet! I made an appointment for a haircut, and I showed her how I had wanted mine to look (a french bob). Julie was very attentive and as others have mentioned, she knows Asian hair very well, and based on the photo she cut my hair and gave it LIFE. Like, my hair is typically limp and dull and she gave me that volume and fullness that I needed - this was before she even styled it! This is the only place that I found in the Peninsula who can handle Asian hair really well. My family has been going to Allure for a few years now, and Julie who is the owner and stylist is very talented. Even though it says she takes walk-ins, there were a few times when the salon was closed or she left early, so make sure you call in advance to make an appointment. Men's haircut is now $35 before tip.

I hidden gem right in my neighborhood. Personalize and attentive service from Julie, who is also the salon owner. Price was $60 before tip. Very pleased with my new haircut. Gomawo!
