I’ve been going to this studio for at least a decade or more. I just love Michael and the way he teaches in such a calm way making everyone feel comfortable. I recommend this special studio to all my friends and family ?

This is the least expensive yoga studio in Sacramento and possibly the oldest. I absolutely adore the brick and mortar style architecture of the building and the ivy growing all along the exterior. The showers are outside which reminds me a lot of Funky Door Yoga when it was still open on Haight Street in San Francisco. Those were private stalls however so in some ways this studio is different, the schedule and prices are similar to those original Bikram studios. Back before the “hot yoga” studios started offering hot pilates and raising their prices. I like that this schedule is simple and consistent kind of how I intend to continue my practice. The teachers here are all very kind. I tried the introductory month and i have been 3 times so far. Each of the teachers does it slightly differently but they don't call anyone out in particular. Just a gentle tap or readjustment which I've really appreciated. This was my first time trying bikram and it was hard but well worth it. I'm going to try to go 9 more times to make it even more worth it! 40 dollars for unlimited classes a month is a reallt good deal! They do lock the front door after breathing exercises- about 5 mins after the start time- so try not too be too late!
