“The trainers at IW are welcoming and supportive. They genuinely accept each participant at any level and encourage us to challenge ourselves while being non judgemental when we are just getting started. I'm retired, and this workout studio has been a blessing. I feel so comfortable here with the small group workouts. Keeps me coming back. I could never be this consistent at a large gym where I was more just a face in the crowd. Some IW participants come with injuries, back problems, or are pregnant, and the trainers give modifications. They are really good about remembering the need for those modifications, as well as remembering the participants' individual goals and reason for being there. Seems like people tend to stay members for many years and are regulars at the workouts. That's impressive! There are about 5 trainers that lead the workouts. Each has a different style; they are all lovely humans. I encourage my friends to try different trainers when they start out. Whether you want to build back your muscle mass (like I do), or you want something else: to be buff, or to lose weight and keep it off, or you just want to live a healthy life-- this is a Sacramento gem. The fixed fee covers as many workouts as you want. Even though it is more than the monthly fee I've paid at any gym, it is so worth it. I've never been this consistent or hooked on workouts. So grateful I finally walked through those doors.“
“I’ve been training here since Oct 2021 and really enjoy my sessions! I meet with Curtis 2-3 times per week and have gotten stronger and improved my balance. All trainers here are well equipped for all body types and ages and make working out fun. I never did weight lifting before coming here but now feel very confident in my abilities!“

“I am sharing my story to encourage others who have lost hope and completely believe they could never be themselves again. I have lived with a horrible painful pinched nerve & muscle between my hip and leg for 5 years. Because I hurt so bad I would walk with a limp and my left knee would swell because of all the imbalance. Even after drs, X-rays, meds for pains, chiropractor and 2 other physical therapy companies. I could not get better. In fact I was getting worse every year. So after being referred to UC Davis sports medicine. The Dr told me he would send me to Kimes " they will get you better!" I got a referral with Dr. Julia Wright in August. Well its been 2 1/2 month. I saw Julia once a week, plus I did the recommended therapy at home. Not easy and painful, but I am now pain free and able to walk in 3" heals or sleep on my side. What a relief. Thank you Dr Julia & Thank you Kimes. I appreciate all your knowledge.
