Can I give this place 10 stars? Anyone who has seen any of my other reviews know I'm either hot or cold, no where in the middle. I had been going to Eyesite for Sacramento for 10 years and loved Dr. Serdahl, but after a very negative experience with his front office on the phone I said enough was enough. After waiting 20+ minutes on the phone I was asked if I was an existing patient, mind you I had been going here for 10 years. I have also had my fair share of mediocre PCP experiences as well, so again saying this was awesome means a lot. First, Dr. Schauffele and I talked about my medical history; all females have lost their sight to macular degeneration. This is something I'm very scared of. Dr. Schauffele ran a test specifically for that, as well as performed other "normal" tests that I had never had before. They are also up to date on their knowledge of lenses coatings (there's one that includes blue light protection). I loved everything about this office; Heidi, Thomas, Eldon..Everyone was awesome..Thank you.

I have known Dr. Schauffele for several years. Her friendliness and ease of explaining things is extremely helpful. Wishing there were more choices of eyeglasses frames, I'm very picky; they can order models to try however, there is a slight wait time.

The office staff was friendly professional and very knowledgeable of all insurances. Dr. Heidi was very friendly very personable and very knowledgeable of my situation and very compassionate... I told her that the office had a very homey atmosphere and I would be referring my grandkids there because it was kid friendly...wasn't aware that they also carry frames which is very convenient ... outside is deceiving but once you walk in you'll be very surprised definitely worth going to this office... excellent care and staff!
