I had the pleasure of getting a taper haircut done by Vontael, and I must say, he truly exceeded my expectations! Due to my sometimes hectic work schedule + needing to find a barber with availability that aligns with that schedule, I often find myself playing musical barber chairs. In bad need of a haircut, I opened the Booksy app and began browsing for local barbers. After a few minutes, I came across the profile for Ron, a barber that works at the Rich Barber Hair Studio (please reference my previous review if interested). After receiving confirmation that Ron accepted the appointment, I anticipated the well-needed service. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a majority of the barbers (including Ron). Ron confirmed that I was there for the appointment, and informed me that he would start my cut as soon as he finished with the client in his chair. After Ron completed the finishing touches with the client, he informed me that he was ready to start the cut. Ron is friendly and did a good job of communicating throughout the process (i.e. confirming the hair style of my desire), while asking me inquiring questions about myself. An hour later Ron was putting the finishing touches on my haircut, and I was feeling like my normally well-groomed self again. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail that Ron gave when picking my hair out, lining me up, and tapering the sides and back of my afro. Stumbled in to try it out, and I schedule an appointment with Deshawn. He gave me a fresh cut, and in the first day. My hair is difficult, and he nailed it on the first try. I've come back back now another time, and intend to continue coming.
