One of the stylists, Kathleen, received high praise for her patience and kindness with a disabled grandmother. She was able to successfully create a blended, very short hairstyle, even after accommodating a special request for the wash and blow dry to be completed after the haircut. Another stylist, Phan, was commended for her skill in evening out uneven layers and matching the other side of the head. She saved the day for a customer who had attempted to cut their own layers. Phan's talent was further demonstrated in a subsequent appointment where she trimmed split ends and touched up layers. The salon has also received recognition for consistently providing good haircuts throughout California over the past 30 years.
