I wasn't there for myself, I went with my better half and two kids who wanted haircuts. The environment is relaxed, and there is comfortable seating for people like myself who are there waiting. The area has a Target, a few coffee shops, and I walk around the block a few times. Girls were all pleased with their hair, the price was fair, the service was fantastic. But three is still a lot to sit through, I was ready to go home after :-)
Thankfully, my experience here was FANTASTIC. Had a bad experience at another salon in the neighborhood (wrong cut, highlights, and false price quote) so I was hesitant trying a new spot. At Spanish Fly I started with a beer (a whole one!) in the lounge bc I was early. Once I was in Bobbi's chair, all my worries melted away. Bobbi knocked it out of the park for me. From my wash/massage to my cut, I appreciated the careful attention to detail. I felt listened to! Bobbi is chatty and funny, so we also had a fun conversation to pass the time including descriptions of the products that work for my haircut. Chelsea took great care of me. I haven't had my hair done in a year due to mental health problems, so I decided to get a blowout. She gave me an incredible scalp/head massage, and even trimmed split ends for me. Chelsea is awesome. 10/10.
