Stylist: I've been going to Tina for haircuts for years. She does an outstanding job at a very fair price. I am a 60ish caucasian woman with straight somewhat limp hair that Tina cuts into a pixie style that brings my hair to life.
I don't think I can top my brother's review, but I want to start by seconding that I have also been going to Tina for haircuts ever since I was little. I'm 22 years old now, so yes it has indeed been some time. She really is the one sweetest, kindest people I've ever met. She's very patient and understanding when it comes to what you want for your hair. She takes the time and consideration into crafting a hairstyle that suits you and makes you feel good. I've taken a lot of advice from her when it comes to hair and beauty and I regret nothing. She makes you feel at home in her salon. It's not like an intimidating atmosphere-like place where you're unsure of what you're getting when you walk in. Her skills and prices are simply fantastic! She also offers other services such as nails, eyebrows, etc. Walk-ins are welcome but she has a lot of regulars that she takes care of so I'd advise calling in to set an appointment. Trust me, you won't regret it!
After my 1st haircut from Tina during my adolescent years, little did I know that she would be a mainstay in my life for another 20+ years. I would even go far enough to say that she's an extended member of our family with the history we have, from her cutting my Mom's, my sister's and my hair for such a long time. And for good reason, of course. Honestly, I hate getting my haircut. It's such a nerve-racking experience and more often than not, I end up leaving disappointed. However, my nerves are at ease with Tina because she's very flexible and considerate to what you want your hair to look like. Many times, I'll bring a picture with me of a hairstyle I like and she'll spend a few moments discussing and checking to see if the style will work. If it doesn't, she'll find ways she can modify to suit your face, head shape, and/or current hair length. Also, I don't know what it is but Tina seems to attract awesome customers. Almost every time I'm in for a cut, Tina will introduce to other customers and conversations here just flow. A real neighborhood-y place. Pros -Such a kind lady and easy to talk to. -Longevity. You can be sure Tina will be around for your next haircut. Cons -The parking lot where Tina's Salon is located also serves other stores so parking, at times, can be a bit difficult. Tip: Although Tina welcomes walk-ins, I highly suggest you call ahead to make an appointment, especially if on the same day. This way you can prevent yourself a long wait, as appointment holding customers will get priority.
