Mauri, the owner of the hair salon, is such a sweet lady. She really cares about her clients and wants to get you the look that you are after and will work with you to find a compromise or combination(w/ cut, tools & products) that will work with your hair type! Like if you're me with fine thinning hair but you want this voluptuous hair look she'll tell you that it's really not possible😜 but then she will work to find a solution that will give you a similar look that is realistically doable. I've been going to Maudi, the owner of Hair Galleria, for more years than I care to admit simply because she is THE BEST. :) She took my horrible attempt at going blonde in high school (read: my hair was fried and orange) and I left with perfect highlights and a very flattering cut. Ever since then, she is the only person I go to and I couldn't be happier. She's truly a miracle worker and really listens to what you're looking for to give you the best results -- everything you'd expect from a true professional! Hair Galleria is located near the corner of Alhambra and J Streets and there's parking in the back (can be tight if you've got a big car). It's a full-service salon, and everyone there is so down-to-earth and friendly. Highly recommended!!!!!

I’ve been going to Maudi for more time than I care to confess. She has never ever given me a bad haircut, and I have difficult, kinky-curly hair that every other hairdresser I’ve ever seen seems committed to butchering. Her coloring skills are top rate; I get compliments from complete strangers about how “beautiful your hair is.”
