James Parker started East J Barbers back in 1961. Here is cutting hair in the Korean War. Sold it to Mike almost 20 years ago. Memories span over generations over the last 60 years.

Scott H. is a skilled barber who consistently provides clean, stylish haircuts at an affordable price. I'm an Asian guy with thick hair and Scott handled my hair with ease. Another quality that I appreciate about Scott is that he gives every client 100% of his attention and is responsive to customer requests. I have booked over a dozen appointments with Scott and he has never once been late. Overall, I would highly recommend Scott H. at East J Barbers if you're looking for a solid mens haircut at a price that beats other barbershops in the Sacramento area!

Been coming to East J for a bit over a year now with haircuts about every 2 months. My go-to spot over almost every spot way down south in Elk Grove (including Dave’s). Mike works the front seat and is the head honcho of operations there so a good haircut or conversation is guaranteed under his hands. Other seats can vary on who is working it day to day but every barber has given me a decent cut and they all reach the same minimum quality in my experience of asking for popular haircuts. They’re all decent conversationalist and willing to go extra on your haircut to satisfy.
