I was referred to East Acupuncture by my birth doula in my second trimester of pregnancy, and I would highly recommend Dr. Stretton and her team. The initial visit/consultation I had with Dr. Stretton was extremely insightful and she proved how knowledgeable she is in her field. The reason I wanted to start acupuncture was because I had anxiety pre-pregnancy and wanted to fill my toolbox as much as possible in preparing for the transition into parenthood and minimizing any potential for my anxiety to flare up. I strongly believe that my little-to-no anxiety that I had throughout my pregnancy and through today was a result of Dr. Stretton's work. I also saw Dr. Stretton postnatally as well after having a C-Section and I believed it helped me to heal more efficiently. My pregnancy and postnatal journey aside, however, Dr. Stretton also would provide me with the understanding and resources to make sure I stayed healthy in general. She truly cares about her clients and I couldn't recommend enough!
