I received a notification this morning that Robbie has passed away. I just want to state I've known him for about 20 years, he helped me start my career, and I know he helped thousands of people in the driving industry. He was a fantastic person who evidently did have problems the past couple years. Covid-19 happened, his own health went bad, and now he is passed away. I'm only posting this because I saw some bad reviews painting him as a bad guy. He was one of the few people in my life I truly liked because he was the good person he was.
During my time at CDLC, I grew not only as a student, but a person. I truly appreciate the time the instructors took to help each student and go through the importance of safety with driving. I was so impressed with CDLC, that after I graduated and worked in the industry for several years; I came back and became an instructor myself. During that time I taught hundreds of students how to drive safely and confidently due to my training with CDLC. I grew my patience and understanding, and I now have the ability to break down complex concepts into easy to understand language. Such a great place to learn and network. I met a lot of great drivers and the instructors were knowledgeable about different learning styles which they incorporated into their teaching style. I'm grateful I found this place.
