very rude. ignores ada requests. doesn't give proper (if any) information. especially Chauncey Baine. also requires too much pre-authorization and denies authorizations willy-nilly.

You want to know why you can't use your state funded MediCal at Kaiser,Sutter,John Muir,UC Davis,Northbay or any other decent private doctors in the state? It's because The Department of Health Care Services has placed caps on how many new MediCal members these hospitals can accept unless they were already members from having that provider through an employer or Covered California. The Department of Healthcare Services and Managed health care companies across the state are forcing MediCal members to go too these poorly ran poorly rated community clinics because the more people they have going to these clinics the more money the state gets from the government. This is a reason the state pays these doctors at the better healthcare facilities such low reimbursement rates because they want those doctors to drop their patients so they are forced to go too these community clinics. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEYWe are being subjected to poor healthcare lack of speciality care, medications and treatments so the state, managed healthcare companies and city leaders can fill their pockets with tax payers money. Kaiser secretly met with Gavin Newsom behind closed doors to strike a deal that would allow Kaiser to drop all its contracts with all California managed healthcare providers in the state and bill The Department of Healthcare Services directly for it's MediCal members. So after reading all this, don't even bother applying for MediCal because you can't use it anywhere because no real hospitals, doctors offices, optometrist or dentists accepts it.
