very rude. ignores ada requests. doesn't give proper (if any) information. especially Chauncey Baine. also requires too much pre-authorization and denies authorizations willy-nilly.
I walked in and went to the directory to see where to go and the guard told me I was not allowed to look at the directory because it was out of his view of site. He said that he would call the police because he could not see me. So what’s the point of the directory if no one is allowed to look at it?
I have talked to about 20 different representatives at Social Security and several other agencies. Everyone I spoke to gave conflicting/erroneous information. Each agency kept telling me to call some other agency. Just now, one agent at Social Security told me to call the State of California Department of Health and Human services, but the number he gave me was for my local health care provider: Golden Valley Health Centers. I wasted 45 minutes on hold for nothing. WHY?? GVHC does not handle MediCal/MediCare cases. They just provide health care. The patient has to provide proof of medical coverage. Well- I'm TRYing!
