Lani is fantastic! She has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20 years. I get a lot of compliments on my cut and color, even when visiting Los Angeles. She has received training in Europe and uses all the latest techniques. If imitation is the best form of flattery, now my daughter, sister-in-law, best friend, best friend's daughters, and another friend all go to Lani. Let's face it, it's not cheap to get your hair cut and colored, but Lani's prices are considerably lower than other salons. Also, the salon is beautifully decorated with art from her travels and live orchids that she arranges. She is a true artist and I won't go anywhere else!

Our son was born with a lot of hair, so just before his 1st birthday he got his first haircut at home. After his 1st and 2nd bowl cuts we decided to take him to a salon where the stylist would have patience and our son's crying wouldn't scare everyone else in the room. Aaron has been the family stylist for my husband's family for years. Per recommendation we brought our son in and we've been going to Aaron ever since. Aaron has mastered the art of cutting Alexander's hair. He does it with patience, grace and gets it done in less than 10 minutes while Alex cries... because you know, getting a haircut hurts. Aaron does an amazing job of keeping his cool and I am always satisfied with the cut. He makes sure to get the cut just short enough and perfectly styled for a little boy. Cuts use to be $15 but have gone up to $20 since we started. Regardless, the kid needs a cut 2-3x a year, last time was the first time he didn't cry and he always gets a toy. For cuts, color and styling my family recommends seeing Sue or Aaron.

Very happy every time I arrive and leave the California Concepts Salon. Lani is truly a color specialist and an artist. She helped me go from red to blonde with a smooth seamless transition. I love my hair, our conversations and the ambiance of the salon. I've been offered tea, coffee, water, protein shakes. The place is clean and elegant. Highly recommend.
