“Tina provides salon quality haircuts at ridiculously low prices. She has cut my hair for 25 years, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. She uses a 3 and 4 tip on a razor to cut parts of my hair on the sides and back of my head and scissors to cut the rest. She keeps me looking good. Her work is excellent. I highly recommend visiting Shear Class.“

“I am happy with the new owners switching things up. The overall atmosphere of the place is better. I got the deluxe pedicure $50 and was shocked to see more than 1 scrub and lotion (orange/lemon slices) on the tray, the massages seem longer and attention to detail is a wonderful change.

“I was referred here by my hair stylist that works over at SOLA and I’m not mad about it. Walked in and sat right down in a pedicure chair! Awesome! They were welcoming and kind and I noticed that with the stragglers that were coming in an hour before they closed. One even offered to come back the next day and they refused and offered her the chair next to me. Had a pretty thorough pedicure, and the guy was very detail oriented, which is always appreciated. It sucks feeling rushed when you just wanna be pampered. I definitely will be back and perhaps will put it up with my hair appointment so I could get a full pampering in one parking lot! “This was yet the best nail tech I have gotten she was so sweet and nice the quality may look iffy at first but it was excellent. I had to only wait 15min until she attended me and when she finally got to me she asked what I wanted and gave me some advice by drawing out what each of my nails would look like. The vibe was also very excellent she made casual conversation with me and was overall very sweet and reassuring. When I moved out to Highland in 1998, I had settled in a nail shop in the local Walmart plaza..until I discovered they gave me a nail fungus! Note - that place is no longer in business. After that, I found another shop that treated me right for a good long time, until it had changed owners several times and made me feel rushed the last couple years I was there. I knew it was time for a change, but I just didn't know where to go..And then I discovered 1st Nails! They are conveniently located on Baseline across from City Hall in a little plaza. And let me tell you... this shop is AMAZING!!! They do several types of nail treatments. They do acrylic, gel...and a new type that I am absolutely in love with called a dip nail treatment. It's stronger your normal acrylic nails, easier on the fingers and instead of needing a refill every two weeks I can now go every 3 to 4 weeks and my nails still look wonderful. The polish does not smear, chip or rub and stays perfect the entire time!Note. They are by appointment only. It's a small shop but they give you that personal touch every time. They also do pedicures. The owners are very personable. Shane runs the business end and his husband Ben does the nails, and you just can't go wrong with them. They are very honest and amazing and will make you feel welcome every time.5 stars easily! Would give them more if I could!"“

“I have been a client for the last six years, and the team of nail techs are absolutely amazing. Once you walk in the door, all of them are very attentive and make you feel so welcome. My 2 sisters and mother also come here and we can always depend on them to take good care of us. We recently got our nails done for my sister’s wedding and love our elegant nails. I go to Cindy for my nails and she always makes the perfect almond shape and recommendations for color scheme and designs. Denise always does my pedicure and takes such good care of me with a beautiful French tip. I receive many compliments on my nails and toes and it feels so nice. I see the nail techs will take walk-ins when I am there, but I recommend calling in advance they are good at scheduling a good time. I enjoy my experience and service they provide and highly recommend this group of nail techs!

“I walked into this nail shop a couple months back and still come in to this day because their services are fantastic. No complaints so far. Lisa and Ashley present themselves so gently and are very friendly. Andy is also friendly. What I like is they do their best to leave you satisfied with their work, very attentive, and despite it being 3 of them, they work at a fast pace while still doing a great job. They are patient and listen to what you want, they deliver every time.“
