I've enjoyed (for the most part) managing my own money since about 1983 when I joined AAII - a financial educational organization. However, I met with Hanson & McClain in the early 2000s and again in about 2014 and was/am clearly impressed with their advice, fiduciary responsibility, and concern. In fact, should I become incapacitated in some way and am no longer competent to manage our retirement IRAs, my wife has clear instructions to turn the whole thing over to H&M (now Allworth). One of the best pieces of advice that I've ever received was a tidbit about something called "airtime" that they mentioned on their radio show. (Been listening off and on since the mid-1990s.)
