I've worked with Dorothea Williams from this company two separate times now, and she has been an amazing help to me. I'm 73 and was never good at math (I literally have a mental block about even trying to learn anything that has to do with numbers or money), plus I'm especially intimidated about Taxes and Annuities and IRAs and such. Somehow I have been given incorrect information that once I was living only on Social Security, I didn't have to pay taxes anymore, and when I found out that was incorrect, I freaked out because I hadn't filed a tax return the year before. Being new in town I had no idea where to turn because in my hometown my best friend had done my bookkeeping for me half of my life. I knew I couldn't afford an expensive accountant so I called the Kings County Commission on Aging to see if they could recommend someone to help me. They we're very helpful and connected me to Dorothea, who actually volunteers for them to help out senior citizens. When I called her, she was welcoming and friendly, and put me at ease instantly. Then she kindly and patiently guided me through the process and was able to help me get through it. She has also been very accommodating to my schedule, and has made every effort to help me to feel comfortable and relaxed (and not as dumb as I thought I was). I can't recommend her more highly; whatever your problem she can help you with it.
