I'm in love with my brows! I never thought I would be able to say that because I have always struggled with my uneven and sparse natural brows. Drawing them in and trying to even them out with a brow pencil used to take so much time in the morning, so I scheduled an appointment with Katelyn for nano brows after much research. My biggest priority when looking for a brow artist was finding someone who would make the brows look natural with hair-like strokes. I wanted to avoid getting brows that were too dark, blocky, and obviously tattooed on. Katelyn was soooo talented at making the brows look perfectly filled in but natural -- like my brows but better! She was patient and detailed during the brow mapping process, and she made sure to measure and map out my brows perfectly so we were both completely satisfied with how they looked before she started the tattooing process. I asked for brows that followed my natural shape and she did that perfectly! It's been around 1.5 months since I got my brows done, and they have healed beautifully since. Katelyn also made sure to check in on me during the healing process, which was super helpful. It has been such a game changer waking up with my brows already looking good! You don't realize how much time your brows take to draw in until you don't have to do them anymore. Getting my brows done by Katelyn was the best decision ever -- highly recommend to everyone!!
I was referred to Angela for ombre powder brows. When I texted her to make an appointment, she was friendly and responsive. She explained the process thoroughly when I went in. Even during the process, she made sure to let me know what she's about to do and what to expect next. I requested my brows to be as straight as possible given my natural bone structure and she delivered perfectly. My brows are even with a shade that matches my hair color. This spa is a hidden gem. Very clean and aesthetics. I had several treatments done here, such as Ultherapy and M22. Loved the results and staff. I even bought a package and still have several sessions left. Definitely looking forward to pamper myself again before the holiday season.

Just finished a project with Kin for my kitchen/bathroom remodel. Very satisfied! I found Kin randomly on yelp and took my chance. I'm working with a very tight budget, and Kin was very very helpful and understanding through the whole process, and was willing to work with me. Great communication, clear breakdown and what can/can't be done, and timely delivery of the final product. When I told Kin my concerns, he would always listen and try his best to work with me to my satisfaction. I'm very happy with my new kitchen/bath!

Today I came in for my 2-11 eyebrow touch- up. The pain level was more more intense than the first time. Tiffany assured me that was normal. The shop was nice in clean and parking was Great, I was able to park right in thr front of the shop. My final results was AMAZING! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH MY EYEBROWS. I've been getting my hair cut by Laura for 5+ years now. She's super sweet and it's easy to make appointments (she only takes appointments because of how busy it gets). I appreciate how she gives super helpful advice for hair care since I'm largely unaware and have a bare routine. The cuts here are super affordable too so I usually get the shampoo package since she styles it too. You'll feel/look great after!!

Does anyone know what happened to them? :(. I tried calling a few times over the course of this month, but their phone # no longer works. I even drove to the location in person during business hours, but everything was closed, and gated up. Now I am checking yelp to see that this locaton has been reported as closed by yelpers. If someone can message me and let me know i'd be really grateful. Mostly because I am really hoping this is a temporary closure/ they are re-opening somewhere else. If thats the case, i'd love to know when and where so I can continue supporting them. Any update would be appreciated. If they have retired from the salon business: I wish them the best. Mekong Hair Salon Natalie has been cutting my hair for years. She does a great job and takes her time even if there are a lot of customers waiting she will make sure everyone gets their dedicated time to get the haircut they want. No appointments here like most haircut salons but that's never an issue. Also most recently I started bringing my son to get his haircut. He's a toddler and cutting a toddlers hair is not easy at all but thanks to Natalie's patience and skill she makes sure he is comfortable and gets him done quickly. Conveniently located on Garvey/Del Mar and plenty of parking in the back lot. FYI the only negative reviews revolve around appointments which Mekong has never required, false info. Been coming here for almost 10 years and will be coming here until I am bald LOL.

Really hard to beat. $25 for a cut and a wash??? Count me in. Haircuts are getting quite expensive and I'm finding it hard to justify $50 cuts every 2-3 weeks. This spot is like a vietnamese nail salon but for males and cuts hair lol. They have a small parking lot in the back and do most of their cuts off appointments, so be sure to call before!

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my previous hair stylist. This past weekend, I was in search for a new hair stylist. I found one in The Square Shopping Center, but they had a full house. Funny, all prior weekends, they were mostly empty and the one weekend I needed a hair cut, they were preoccupied. Oh well... it just wasn't meant to be. Anyway, I asked my brother if he would recommend one of the salons he goes to. Thank you bro! Rainbow Hair Stylists made the cut. What a gem! It's located in a small corner plaza. Parking can be tight. Upon entry, we were greeted by two very nice and pleasant ladies. I wanted a short pixie hair cut. I saw some pictures of women with short hair on the wall... combined two of them... and provided Mei (the lady who cut my hair) minimum instructions. She knew exactly what I was asking for and ran with it. I was so very happy of the outcome. My hair cut was amazing! Nicely layered. My sides were perfect. It was exactly the way I wanted it. Price for my hair cut was $20 plus tip which is very reasonable nowadays. Thank you so much Mei for your fantastic hair cutting skills. I appreciate it. Also it was neat to watch Mei and my Mom reminisce on the old ways of saying certain salon words that were used in the good old days. I even understood a few of them phrases LOL. I was in a car accident a few years back when I was still a student. I don't remember if I should have kept coming after my sessions ended, but when they did, I was back to normal. All he did was crack my spine back into place and gave me time to let my posture set into its ideal position. He was very patient, and the waiting room was peaceful. I just wish I kept coming because of the car accidents I had after finishing my sessions with him. I'm looking to come back because due to pain problems with my lower back as well as shoulder and knee cracking. I'm honestly looking into buying the things I laid on during the rest sessions.

Recently, I took my mom here a few times for her dentist appointment. The office is nice and clean. The staff are attentive and took care of my mom well. I would recommend Dr. Lau if anyone needs to see a dentist.
This is a 3.5/5 review but I'm rounding up. I got a 90 minute full body massage for $80. I came in because my body has been stiff and the lady at the front escorted me to one of the rooms. I liked the atmosphere of the room it was pretty dark except for one dim lamp source especially since you have to strip down. She came into the room and began the massage for maybe 10 minutes and then I hear a man come in and before I know it he came into the room to take over. Let me preface by saying he was extremely professional and a great masseuse. I forgot his name but I would definitely recommend him, but I have to take a star off because that wasn't discussed beforehand. I think when you have a female client in a vulnerable position, you should always give them the choice to have female only staff be in the room. It threw me for a loop when a man suddenly walked in to take over, but once again, he was professional. Contributing to the review is parking. The small lot was incredibly hard to park in since there's only one spot dedicated to customers at the spa, so I had to park across the street which was inconvenient. I also don't know if I got a foreigner tax placed on me... I don't think the staff realized Im Chinese and when I walked in the lady spoke with another woman in a room and there was some back and forth on what I was asking for and the other lady goes "tell her it's $80 for 90 min." I would assume the lady taking me in would know the prices since she works there so I'm a little suspicious that they might have overcharged me, especially since spas in the area charge around $65. This part isn't part of the 3.5 star review but I figured I should point it out just for other people to ask before coming. Tipped $20 and btw there's a $2 charge to use card as well. $102 for a pretty good massage. I want to say I'll be back but next time I'm calling in Chinese to ask for the price.
