I was referred to Angela for ombre powder brows. When I texted her to make an appointment, she was friendly and responsive. She explained the process thoroughly when I went in. Even during the process, she made sure to let me know what she's about to do and what to expect next. I requested my brows to be as straight as possible given my natural bone structure and she delivered perfectly. My brows are even with a shade that matches my hair color. Angela was professional, sweet, and has the midas touch. I highly recommend her for brows!
I called on Labor Day (a holiday!) and Olivia answered my call! I didn't expect it, being that it was a major holiday. I explained to her that I needed help with getting a copy of my citizenship certificate so that I can then get my passport. Olivia was very polite and professional, she told me "no problem!, come to my or office tomorrow and I will help!". This was very impressive, but not surprised because I did see all the positive Yelp reviews on this business. So I showed up the next day and she assisted me with filling out and understanding the application process. She talked me through everything and answered all the questions I had. I was out of there very happy and calm. She also offered to keep her in the loop with my process and that she would be more than happy to answer anything that I don't understand. Olivia, thank you soooooooo much! I was very nervous about this because I don't want anything going wrong. Because our photographer was such a joy to work with, we had a feeling Stephanie would be amazing as well. Her Instagram account showed pictures of beautiful brides with soft glam makeup. As soon as I visited her website, I knew that she was not only a talented makeup artist but also an organized, transparent business owner. She made her pricing readily available (I didn't have to contact her separately about it), and I was able to instantly figure out if she was available on our wedding day. The booking process alone made it easy for me to decide to work with Brides Nest.

I know there is no reason to be hesistant about writing a review though in this case it identifies me as a man willing to go to a beauty salon. Being conscious that my face could use a little work I opted to try this location near the barbar shop I go to. Glad I did. Elaine was very nice and did a great job explaining the chemical peel we decided on. The place looks as sterile as a hospital but not depressing. Very elegant and relaxing. Had such a great experience that I will be returning for another treatment soon
The receptionist and nurse practitioner were both professional and attentive, the wait was very short, the facility very nice.

Just finished a project with Kin for my kitchen/bathroom remodel. Very satisfied! I found Kin randomly on yelp and took my chance. I'm working with a very tight budget, and Kin was very very helpful and understanding through the whole process, and was willing to work with me. Great communication, clear breakdown and what can/can't be done, and timely delivery of the final product. When I told Kin my concerns, he would always listen and try his best to work with me to my satisfaction. I'm very happy with my new kitchen/bath!

Today I came in for my 2-11 eyebrow touch- up. The pain level was more more intense than the first time. Tiffany assured me that was normal. The shop was nice in clean and parking was Great, I was able to park right in thr front of the shop. My final results was AMAZING! I'M SO IN LOVE WITH MY EYEBROWS. I've been getting my hair cut by Laura for 5+ years now. She's super sweet and it's easy to make appointments (she only takes appointments because of how busy it gets). I appreciate how she gives super helpful advice for hair care since I'm largely unaware and have a bare routine. The cuts here are super affordable too so I usually get the shampoo package since she styles it too. You'll feel/look great after!!

Does anyone know what happened to them? :(. I tried calling a few times over the course of this month, but their phone # no longer works. I even drove to the location in person during business hours, but everything was closed, and gated up. Now I am checking yelp to see that this locaton has been reported as closed by yelpers. If someone can message me and let me know i'd be really grateful. Mostly because I am really hoping this is a temporary closure/ they are re-opening somewhere else. If thats the case, i'd love to know when and where so I can continue supporting them. Any update would be appreciated. If they have retired from the salon business: I wish them the best. Mekong Hair Salon Natalie has been cutting my hair for years. She does a great job and takes her time even if there are a lot of customers waiting she will make sure everyone gets their dedicated time to get the haircut they want. No appointments here like most haircut salons but that's never an issue. Also most recently I started bringing my son to get his haircut. He's a toddler and cutting a toddlers hair is not easy at all but thanks to Natalie's patience and skill she makes sure he is comfortable and gets him done quickly. Conveniently located on Garvey/Del Mar and plenty of parking in the back lot. FYI the only negative reviews revolve around appointments which Mekong has never required, false info. Been coming here for almost 10 years and will be coming here until I am bald LOL.
Very decent price for male/boys haircuts. Just remember that the base price does NOT include wash/shampoo. Tell them what your preferred style is and they'll accommodate!

Really hard to beat. $25 for a cut and a wash??? Count me in. Haircuts are getting quite expensive and I'm finding it hard to justify $50 cuts every 2-3 weeks. This spot is like a vietnamese nail salon but for males and cuts hair lol. They have a small parking lot in the back and do most of their cuts off appointments, so be sure to call before!

Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my previous hair stylist. This past weekend, I was in search for a new hair stylist. I found one in The Square Shopping Center, but they had a full house. Funny, all prior weekends, they were mostly empty and the one weekend I needed a hair cut, they were preoccupied. Oh well... it just wasn't meant to be. Anyway, I asked my brother if he would recommend one of the salons he goes to. Thank you bro! Rainbow Hair Stylists made the cut. What a gem! It's located in a small corner plaza. Parking can be tight. Upon entry, we were greeted by two very nice and pleasant ladies. I wanted a short pixie hair cut. I saw some pictures of women with short hair on the wall... combined two of them... and provided Mei (the lady who cut my hair) minimum instructions. She knew exactly what I was asking for and ran with it. I was so very happy of the outcome. My hair cut was amazing! Nicely layered. My sides were perfect. It was exactly the way I wanted it. Price for my hair cut was $20 plus tip which is very reasonable nowadays. Thank you so much Mei for your fantastic hair cutting skills. I appreciate it. Also it was neat to watch Mei and my Mom reminisce on the old ways of saying certain salon words that were used in the good old days. I even understood a few of them phrases LOL. The owner of the shop has a ton of experience and is able to cut hair perfectly from a reference photo and the price is very reasonable. Every time I go to get a haircut from My Le, I always look forward for the shampoo and massage at the end.

My first stylist here was a guy and he did a great job with dying my hair (highlights and full head color). The second one was May and she's been cutting my hair the past couple of times and they've been amazing! She completely understands what my hair and bangs need (sometimes the volume and structure confuse other stylists). And she doesn't complain about my hair volume like a lot of other places do, they're clean and professional.

I wish I was referred to Dr. Ta from my accident lawyer from the beginning! My neck was not getting any better at the other chiropractor office so my lawyer gave me Dr. Ta as an alternative and I'm so glad I saw him! He's very attentive and will listen to where is the pain, what has been working, what hasn't been working, and be upfront with you on the treatment plan. The weekly adjustments that he's done around my neck and upper back has helped released a lot of tension built up from the car accident. Dr Ta is in this office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the other days, his assistant, Bertha, will help put you on the machines they have. Bertha is so sweet and very welcoming as well. Highly recommend this place! You will feel a huge difference after 1 week!

This is a 3.5/5 review but I'm rounding up. I got a 90 minute full body massage for $80. I came in because my body has been stiff and the lady at the front escorted me to one of the rooms. I liked the atmosphere of the room it was pretty dark except for one dim lamp source especially since you have to strip down. She came into the room and began the massage for maybe 10 minutes and then I hear a man come in and before I know it he came into the room to take over. Let me preface by saying he was extremely professional and a great masseuse. I forgot his name but I would definitely recommend him, but I have to take a star off because that wasn't discussed beforehand. I think when you have a female client in a vulnerable position, you should always give them the choice to have female only staff be in the room. It threw me for a loop when a man suddenly walked in to take over, but once again, he was professional. Contributing to the review is parking. The small lot was incredibly hard to park in since there's only one spot dedicated to customers at the spa, so I had to park across the street which was inconvenient. I also don't know if I got a foreigner tax placed on me... I don't think the staff realized Im Chinese and when I walked in the lady spoke with another woman in a room and there was some back and forth on what I was asking for and the other lady goes "tell her it's $80 for 90 min." I would assume the lady taking me in would know the prices since she works there so I'm a little suspicious that they might have overcharged me, especially since spas in the area charge around $65. This part isn't part of the 3.5 star review but I figured I should point it out just for other people to ask before coming. Tipped $20 and btw there's a $2 charge to use card as well. $102 for a pretty good massage. I want to say I'll be back but next time I'm calling in Chinese to ask for the price.

I went to see them for help for my missing menstrual cycle and when trying to conceive. They helped me stay optimistic and hopeful through a very frustrating journey. I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby and I couldn’t have done it without their help and encouragement.
