This pilates studio was okay... it wasn't for me. I would recommend for an older crowd. I didn't feel like I did a workout because it wasn't very hard (plus my Apple workout said I only burned 50 calories, so you know my heart wasn't pumping). This is a chill place and not many standing workouts, lots of laying on the reformer machine). They have lots of different time slots for pilates classes throughout the day. Prices are about $30 a class. This location is located across from Target. There is a huge lot of free parking. My instructor was nice and friendly. I probably won't come back, but if you're into slower, easier workouts then this place is for you!

I would have given 5 stars but my experience knocked off a star. I felt compelled to share my experience today at Club Pilates PV. I became a member in January 2023. I have met and developed friendships with so many wonderful women and instructors at the studio. It is such a pleasure to walk in the front door and be greeted with a warm "hello" and a smile from Maya (Part time front desk receptionist). She is beautiful inside and out. As a young woman, she has poise and professionalism which are truly an asset to CP.On the other hand when I entered the studio today. Sharon (also a Part time front desk receptionist) was sitting at the front table looking at her phone and never looked up when I walked in. I put my belongings in the cubby and took a seat on the bench and proceeded to check my phone. After awhile Sharon gets up and walks to the computer and blurts out "what's your name?" no greeting...just cold. Since I was the only one in the lobby I looked up to see her looking at me. I smiled and jokingly said " Girl, come on, you don't know my name by now?" Mind you, I am at CP four to five times a week. I had also introduced myself to her several times before. And a couple of weeks prior I had to interact with her to correct something on my account and I told her my name AGAIN at that time. Back to the story. She got defensive and said she wasn't there every day and she can't remember everyone's name. I said, yes, of course I don't expect you to do that but, I have met you several times "Sharon". When I said her name, she looked at me with an evil glare and said " screw you!" I was so shocked, but I didn't want to make a scene because there was a class in session so I walked away.I could not believe this woman is representing CP in Palos Verdes could be so crude, rude and totally unprofessional in this matter. I am still shocked!As a woman that has had a long career in HR and Customer Services. It is my personal opinion that Sharon, is definitely unqualified to represent CPPV in the capacity of a receptionist.

The instructors are all great, however the owner, Sai, is terrible!He will tell you whatever you want to hear and then go back on his word. He has lied several times to me when I've asked him direct questions. He is rude and lacks people skills. The studio is small and not always clean.Classes have been canceled multiple times within an hour of the class starting. I'm surprised the Club Pilates name allows these kinds of practices because it reflects on their brand. Lots of room for improvement.
