I really dread making this review and I hope it helps the salon to improve their behaviors and knowledge of hair... Or at least to help someone like me avoid having the same traumatic experience. I'd like to start by saying I have a very good sense of humor and I like a dirty joke in the right environment.. but when the older man who owns the salon did my hair, I believe his name is Jerry, I had a very uncomfortable experience. Jerry at Scorpios used to be The Man to go to if you wanted your hair lightened beautifully with no damage. Expensive but worth it. But that has changed. I paid 160 for fried splotchy yellow and brown hair. It had been stripped of all the moisture, oil and shine and looked HORRIBLE. Jerry was nice enough to tell me where to go to buy something to fix it and bring it to the color he had said he would, but I paid him to do that. A lot of money. I did receive my money back two weeks later and spent almost the same amount bringing my hair as close to the health it had been as possible. So I paid $160.00 to be right back where I started but now with darker hair. May as well... read full review
