John Mattie's guys are miracle workers! We had a fridge leak that ruined a section of hardwood floor in the middle of our home, requiring a complicated "patch" job. Originally the repairs were done by a general contractor (supplied by the company liable for the damage); their job left the floor creaking and with major gaps between boards. They claimed it was "unavoidable" and that this was the best work we could expect for a patch job. John Mattie's guys, however, proved them wrong. This is a big job for a home so you have to be ready to have everything moved and we were able to leave town when it was done. John and his team at Mattie's hard wood flooring did a wonderful job on my floors. I had several problems that were resolved and a beautiful new stain color put on. It looks classic and rich tones of medium brown. I'm very happy with the results and would highly recommend this company.
John and his team are PROS and I'd hire them again! HD's carpet installer found beautiful 5-finger mosaic red and white oak parquet hardwoods in my bedroom. John promptly visited my home, knew exactly what to do and within days, Rafi and Victor came out to do the job. Victor cut the fingers in my driveway - they put the pieces together like a puzzle - it is an artform. They were on time, respectful, and like what they do - a far better experience than I had with HD's flooring team LOL. The price and timing was right - I happily recommend John Mattie and his team.
