Today marks the one year anniversary of my mom's passing . What Christine and the folks @ Neptune did for us was outstanding . Cannot say enough about what they did . Christine took care of everything from start to finish , top to bottom , etc . In an unfortunate time / situation we were fortunate to have you . From the bottom of , not only my heart , my family's as well THANK YOU Christine .
Christine was a blessing to our family at the most heartbreaking time in our lives. I had several conversations with Christine leading up to actually meeting her in person. Our sweet Daddy had just passed away and we didn’t know what to do..where to turn. Yes, his wishes were in place and we knew what he wanted but what we didn’t know was...what do we do to fulfill his wishes. My mother, my sisters, and I were devastated. My mom had just lost the love of her life, highschool sweethearts that were married 62 years, and my sisters and I just lost our hero. Christine was there for us. My family has now had two experiences with Christine at Neptune Society. In both she has provided excellent service, and with compassion and the utmost respect during these difficult times. Our dear old Dad passed away just over a year ago, and our Mom just recently. Christine knows the ins and outs of Riverside National Cemetery and helped us to understand the options available to us. She gave us the time to make difficult decisions and was very communicative every step of the way. She was always available, even after hours and on weekends to answer questions. Dad's dying wish was that he be cremated in his USAF uniform. When we first spoke with Christine mere hours after his passing, I mentioned this and she said she would make it happen, and to just bring his uniform to her office when we met the next day. She said she would personally put the uniform on his body before cremation, and she did (with tasteful and respectful photo evidence provided as I requested). I was blown away by Christine's personal commitment to helping us to honor our father this way. As we've had now two opportunities to interact with Christine, we've gotten to know her a little bit. We notice that she does not refer to us as "clients" or "customers" ... she refers to us all as "her families". This reflects her personal commitment to treating us all with utmost respect, care and compassion. Christine has been in this business for well over 20 years, and she "takes it home". Personally I can't even imagine how difficult it must be to every day deal with death and the sorrow of grieving family members. Thank God for people like Christine who have chosen this as their life's work - that of helping others in their time of need. We couldn't have possibly found a better person to help us through ours. We consider Christine a part of OUR family. Thank you Christine, you are simply the best.
