I'm giving five stars to Shane Konikow not just because the job was done well-- the install was flawless; not just because he and his crew was courteous-- they were prompt, responsive, and polite; not just because the quote was reasonable-- his pricing was honest and transparent.This business earned five stars because Shane is an electrician who cares deeply about his customers-- which is easy to say, but nigh impossible to find-- going well above and beyond to do the right thing.I hired Konikow Electric for a car charger install that involved trenching. The quote was painless, over text, and he came by a few days later to do the job. Little did he know, the solar panel company who upgraded my breaker box miswired my AC unit (they swapped the hot and neutral for one pole), and the wirenut for the miswired neutral came loose during the charger installation.When I came home in the evening, my son's bedroom was ~90 degrees. I called Shane at 6:30, he rushed over to my house in half an hour, testing my entire panel, the AC unit, the service disconnect, even the fuses. He told me that he won't leave until the problem is fixed the same evening.After testing everything himself, he worked with my neighbor who's an AC tech for another hour to narrow down the miswired cable. In total, he spent 3 hours of his evening helping me fix my unit and refuses to be paid for it.I've hired my fair share of contractors. It's easy to find someone who can run a conduit or two, but when you find a business like this, know that they're few and far in between. He has earned my business, and you should give him a shot too.Services: Installation
