On a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Greg at Earth Tones Landscaping. The process began with an idea of what I wanted the landscape to look like. Greg did a rough sketch, added suggestions, and we went from there. All prior grass and planting material were removed by them as agreed upon prior to the work beginning. They had a clean slate to work with. Upon clearing an area with plants Greg and Jimmy came upon two alligator lizards that they moved to the back yard. Hopefully, they will find their way back to the front yard after the work is completed. They really did create a beautiful outdoors landscape bringing feelings of the Sierra Mountains and Joshua Tree to the landscape. An example of how a low maintenance and drought tolerant landscape can be lush and exciting. During the process, both Greg and Jimmy paid meticulous attention to detail with the placement of the brick walkway, brick lined pathway, placement of boulders, rocks for the dry creek bed, and plants. Happy that I opted to add the outdoor lighting. The lighting adds to the magic of the landscape. Needless to say, the landscape went beyond my wildest expectation and works well with a historical Tudor style home. It is gorgeous. Thank you so much Earth Tones Landscaping for an amazing landscape and all of your hard work and effort to make it happen. My neighbors and I love it and look forward to watching the garden as it grows, and the landscape matures.
Greg and team are a great contractor to work with! Have nothing negative to say. I received multiple estimates from licensed and unlicensed landscape companies and one thing that set Greg apart was his knowledge and willingness to hear what "I" wanted to do with my yard. He let me work through some options and ideas I had and he put his finishing touch on it with his knowledge and experience. My project wasn't the smoothest due to HOA and city requirements but this is the team you want when challenges arise as they were able to help us landscape our new yard. From the dirt lot to what I have now----Earthtones does EPIC work. They dont cut corners and are very upfront in communicating throughout the entire process. This is a trustworthy business and I wouldn't hesitate to do more work with them in the future!!
We love the job Earth-Tones did with our yard! Their vision and work made such a difference in our outdoor space. Greg and his crew were super professional yet it felt like we had friends/family around while they were here! They poured concrete, put GD down, did curbing, all new mulch, faux creek bed, new plants, and new irrigation. We highly recommend Earth-Tones Landscaping!
