I had been looking for a place to take self-defense classes for a while but had a hard time finding the right one. The owner of a shooting range told me about Dave Hopkins Kung Fu San Soo so I decided to try a class and I am so glad I did- I was hooked from the beginning. I have learned so much from Master Dave and all the other students that I've had the opportunity to work with.

I'd like to start this off by saying I was originally looking to study martial arts as an adult primarily for self defense, but also for discipline. I wasn't looking to do this for competitions, "cardio", or a participation trophy. I wanted to learn to defend myself in the most effective way possible from people that wanted to teach and help you get better, especially as a new student.I got that and so much more. What a fantastic studio the instructors are awesome, the people are great and the art of San soo is amazing. If you want to be more confident in life, get in the best shape of your life and learn this great art of self defense then I highly recommend you come down and check out Dave Hopkins kung fu San Soo studio. Dave is cool guy that will welcome you with a friendly smile and a nice personality making you feel right at home in his studio. He will more than likely give a couple of free lessons so that you can see if the studio, the people and the art is a fit for you.
