Southern Sierra Medical Clinic offers trusted family care for patients of all ages. The clinic features highly trained family physicians serving the Indian Wells Valley. Patients have praised Dr. Schuckman for her outstanding care and thorough communication about procedures and results, along with her nice and professional staff. Dr. Nabhani also received excellent reviews for his courteous staff and minimal wait times, making appointments a breeze. However, some patients noted that while they accepted delays and unexpected issues, their experiences were only tolerable rather than enjoyable. Overall, the clinic is dedicated to providing quality medical care in a supportive environment.
My appointments with Dr. Nabhani have been nothing but excellent and the staff around him have been all kinds of courteous. They were extremely helpful and patient with me considering I have the memory of a young squirrel. The wait times were almost nonexistent and all my calls were returned in a timely fashion. Truly just made this whole process a breeze!
I've come to accept that there will always be delays, long waits, surprises and unexpected "things." So I did not suffer the pain and frustration at not getting what I wanted or expected. Does this mean I had an enjoyable experience? No, just tolerable.
I like the doctors and nurses here and most of the service is good (I get calls back and prescriptions are ok, etc.) Except for 1) whenever I'm told to call back in the morning at 8 to make an appointment, no one answers until 8:30ish, and 2) the wait times are REALLY long. Unfortunately over the last year I've almost always had to wait an hour to an hour and a half after my appointment time before I even see the doctor. So keep in mind if you have a busy schedule.
