I am furious with this place. I was recovering from surgery, a torn miniscus that was very much needed cause I could barely walk. I felt like a million bucks after my surgery. I still had some stiffness and waited 3 whole months to see Enrique Diaz, at Fair Oaks on Middlefield Rd Redwood City because that place only has one physical therapist. On February 22, this year I seen him and put my trust in him. Usually a pt measures your flexibility and gives you exercises. He said my bones had to be reset. Something about the fibula and tibia bones and then applied blunt force pressure on my recovering knee, pressing so hard bending the knee backwards, I had to tell him...read full review
Do not attempt to go here. This clinic is a disaster. Many years ago it was OK, it does lab work, you can get an eye exam (a prescription only but no glasses) and has a dental clinic. The doctors are fine but sometimes you get the young fresh kids that are either still in medical school of just out and the senior doctor sees you at the end of your appointment. The doctors will never ask you about a potential medical problem (even if you show up with a massive rash on your face or barely able to walk) so make sure to ask about all issues you have. Their record keeping for any medications you take will never get updated no matter how often you ask. I have listed some meds I haven't taken in several years still listed as being something I take. They are incapable of updating. Appointments usually take two months in advance to schedule and sometimes they have no appointments available and will tell you to call back next week. They will do the basics and refer you to a specialist at the San Mateo Hospital or Stanford clinics but not much of anything happens at this clinic that doesn't require getting referred elsewhere. The nurses are the most surly and rude you will EVER encounter. Don't try to ask a question or inquire what your blood pressure readings was or anything else whatsoever. They never answer their phones as you may have noticed from previous reviews. It's truly insane. I have spent hours and over a week trying to get someone to answer and it just isn't happening. Just more hours on hold. Go to the Emergency Room for treatment instead. If you insist on going here and want an appointment, I would recommend sending a letter. Address it to the doctor you want to see with your contact information and medical record number (if applicable) and mail it. Someone will intercept it as your doctor wont receive it but you will finally get a person to call you back for an appointment if it really is the only place you want to get medical care.
I normally don't write review for a business unless there is an unique situation. This clinic never answers phones. Every time I call I wait on the line more than 20 minutes and gave up. It's not a call center, how come a clinic secretaries can be this busy to not answer a phone call for an half an hour. They should just be honest and say no phone calls are accepted.
