I'm not sure what a GREAT barber shop would be. I guess it would have to be spectacular inside (somehow) and that every barber was fantastic and that the prices were ridiculously low. What I'll say is that this is a perfectly GOOD barbershop that you shouldn't hesitate from trying. Fair enough? My barber Garay was pleasant and efficient and left me happy with my hair. Bring cash 'cause credit's not a thing. (2nd Redlands Barber to be like this.) The best reason to try this place is that it's feet from BRICKS AND BIRCH and yards from INES TAMALES. Like WILSON they're both in the Fox Theater complex and they've got your covered for a snack or better after your cut.

Oscar has been doing my hair for years now. He also cuts my three boys as well. Don’t let the location or look of the place fool you, it’s a good ol’ fashioned barber shop. Everyone is great and we’ve never ever had a problem with anyone’s service here. Parking is a bit tough during peak hours which is why I always try and book the earliest morning appointment I can get. If I had any feedback at all, it would be that I wish they weren’t cash only. Minor inconvenience far outweighed by the atmosphere and service.

Such a dope barber shop. It may be a little pricier than you'd pay at other places, but the ambience of the shop itself, set in a beautiful historic building of Redlands, (enjoy a cold beer or other drink on the house while you wait/get your cut), and the skills of the barbers in house makes it worth every single penny. Garry is especially great. Tip your barber well!
