Excellent martial art! Teaches how to roll and fall to start, which let's face it will absolutely get used. Then you learn to escape from being grabbed, to apply joint locks, throw a person, control them on the ground after being thrown, defense against being attacked with a knife or a gun, and so much more!This school is so much more affordable than most marital arts schools! No contracts or testing fees!Best of all the instructors are incredibly patient with kids or adults. Excellent school with excellent instructors who donate their time and expertise to help others learn and master a new art in the safest ways possible. Not an ego driven dojo in the least bit and don't cost too much to attend.If your back, or any of your muscles are giving you trouble, they have at least 4 certified massage therapists that are great at what they do and always willing to help you. You dont have to be a member of the dojo to get help.

If you want to grow as a person, gain self-esteem, and confidence....than RJA will welcome you as family. Adults and children will benefit from a warm welcoming environment. I had so many problems after struggling with hurt in my past, but Sensei Sheryl understood and patiently waited for me to be ready for each step in growth and healing. Now thanks to her, all that pain is in the rear view mirror. I hold my head high and am ready foe whatever life throws at me, I throw it back!
