When I got engaged, my mom offered me the dress she and her mother had worn. It was from the 1940s, and about 4 sizes too small in every direction. The fabric was perfect but I had my doubts that anyone could make that happen. I met with Barbara and explained my concerns. She was confident and seemed excited about the project. She took her time, asked me for examples of dress styles that I liked, and kept me involved in every step of the process, adjusting anything that I needed. Barbara created the most beautiful, personal, elegant tribute to the original that I could ever have imagined; I cannot recommend her work enough.

I've never shopped for something so elegant. Naturally I couldn't find a wedding dress that was "the one". Went in for a consultation with Barbara, she reassured me, "I can create your dress"! A few months later, I'm walking down the aisle in the most beautiful wedding dress I could imagine. With her passion to create, crazy dreams of my dress and my personal additions, I was the most beautiful woman I the world, on one of the most important days of my life! Thank you Barbara for everything, your patience, your ear to vent to, your creativity, your awesome eye for fashion along with your knowledge-your heart, hands and brain!
