I've been considering a whole house fan for over 5 years. I shouldn't have waited so long !Liz was amazing with the quote and explaining the processOn installation day, Dave and his guy (I forgot his name-sorry) was amazing. Both are knowledgeable and did a great job explaining how the whole house fan (WHF) and gable fan worked together.Install took less than 2 hours start to finish.The results are even better than I expected, the gable fan keeps the 2nd story cool during the height of heat- middle of the afternoon. We had our WHF installed Monday 8/9/21. They called to say they were available 3 hrs earlier. In our favor so that was great!! Alex, Chris & Kevin were very polite, efficient and quick. They explained everything thoroughly. My husband was here for the beginning of the install and was relaxed. That says a lot! All three were very kind and greeted me on my arrival and explained again how to use the remote. Last night was the first run of the fan & we are impressed! Thank you to the young men who installed & didn't leave a mess. Always a plus for me!!
We have a gorgeous house built in the strangest configuration you could ever imagine, the net result being that we have absolutely no cross-ventilation anywhere. Being a girl who needs to feel the air moving, The Hubs and I decided to have a whole home fan installed. We could not feel more fortunate to have been introduced (via NextDoor) to Dave at Whole House Fans OC. Dave was kind enough to come over and see for himself the weirdness of our layout and was able to determine the highest and best placement for our fan.
