“Dr. McFarland at Desert EyeCare Center in Palm Springs was recommended to me by a friend who is a patient of his practice. I first saw Dr. McFarland in April 2023 to get an updated prescription for my glasses. He examined my eyes and gave me the news that I had cataracts and those needed to be addressed prior to a prescription update. He referred me to an excellent local surgeon to address the cataracts, which improved my vision greatly, but didn't fully address my astigmatism or close vision for reading. So I recently went back to Dr. McFarland for a new prescription. He was meticulous in determining the prescription and measuring for the appropriate fit and placement. Bernard in the front office was affable and amazing in recommending a selection of frames for me to try on, so much, that I ended up actually choosing the first pair he showed me. Both Dr. McFarland and Bernard listened to my questions and took the time to answer them fully without trying to presume what I was asking before I finished the sentence, which seems so common these days. I am happy to recommend Desert EyeCare Center for their patience, professionalism and excellent care.“
