I've seen others made of plywood, open to the elements at one end. Not this one, see the photos! Every element was made with the utmost care, based on craftsmanship and long experience. The box was carefully sited on our property, as well. He knows a lot about owls and put that knowledge to use in the building and the siting. Neil did a fantastic job, highly recommend his unique, custom, handcrafted owl boxes w/ installation.“
