I've been following Phil Garcia on instagram for over a decade, and I finally completed my dream of getting work done by him! I couldn't be happier and have received soooo many compliments. Thanks Phil, I'll be seeing you again for sure!
The location is great being not far from the beach in Port Hueneme and has plenty to eat in the area. I travel from the other side of the country and it feels like a vacation each time I've had nothing but great experiences here. The owner Phil is an extremely talented artist and is also one of the coolest artists I've had the pleasure to meet as well. If you're looking for an amazing realism piece I highly recommend this shop.
Was looking for a top notch artist and found Phil Garcia on Instagram and was instantly impressed to say the least. I had been wanting a Jimi Hendrix portrait tattoo as long as I can remember as I am a huge Hendrix fan and knew this tattoo would always remind me of my father who is a huge Hendrix fan as well. I took a look at his portraits and they were all amazing. I emailed him and he responded quickly, communication was excellent setting up idea for tattoo and ultimately setting up a scheduled date. When I got to shop I was greeted by Phil who is a very friendly, interesting, personable guy, very easy going and easy to talk to. He made my first tattoo a great experience. I also met Mike Lemos who I was able to chat it up with for a bit, who was very down to earth, I got great vibes from him as well. So basically good vibes in the shop. I ended up sitting a full day for first session of my portrait that is coming out amazing, the attention to detail for my black and grey piece is astounding, couldn't be happier. I also really love the placement of the tattoo and how it flows on body. I can tell Phil takes great pride in all his work and is a true master at what he does. Looking forward to getting back in chair to finish up piece. I'll update final tattoo once done. Thanks Phil for the amazing work. I highly recommend this shop for anyone that wants true high quality work.
