The place to go in West Marin to learn about and take action for the environment.Friendly, helpful staff are ready to explain and support your education and involvement.Colorful displays invite you into the learning process.Great gift store supports the work and promotes environmental action.Look for their Birding and nature festival in the Spring.Smooth entrance for mobility aid users.
Morgan, Jessica, and Ashley are a whirlwind of activity. Bolstered by numerous board members, partners, advisors, volunteers, and ardent supporters, they do amazing work to protect the land, waters, and biodiversity of West Marin. The EAC's Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival in April is fabulous!
The EAC is a real grass roots organization that strives to protect the natural environment in West Marin, keeping it healthy for future generations and other species. The Point Reyes peninsula is a national treasure and an important buffer against inappropriate develop and non-sustainable agricultural practices. Although the National Park Service and national organizations like the National Park Conservation Service do a great job of protecting this treasure, a local presence is really necessary to bring thigs down to the grass roots. EAC provides that. I think that EAC is a great investment of a charitable dollars. Their budget goes directly into action and education.
