Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare Pleasanton

"Professional Care by World Class Staff" We usually go to San Ramon Regional hospital, but because of an emergency, my wife was brought via ambulance to this hospital. This time, we got to experience the emergency room, Critical Care Unit, regular hospital, pulmonary specialists, physical therapist, respiratory therapist--You name it, we got it. This is a well-run hospital, with World Class Medical staff. Honestly, it would be hard to find a better hospital. My only complaint is that the cafeteria closes too early! Thank you for providing a world-class asset to our town.

We had our 4th & final baby here in 2023 after having our previous 3 at Eden in Castro Valley. This hospital wasn't horrible but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The Dr's/nurses were nice & very caring, so that's what's most important. However the hospital was very run down & dirty, the recovery rooms were tiny, we were basically put in a closet. There was wads of hair and an old chip under the bed as if it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Stanford Health Care is an outstanding institution for patients, with a dedicated healthcare team that provides exceptional care. As a patient, I would want to receive treatment here without hesitation. However, as an employee in the Environmental Services Department, I feel compelled to share some challenges that we face behind the scenes. Many of us in this department find it difficult to wear smiles while we work, not because we lack pride in our roles, but because we are struggling to hold ourselves together.
