I recently had the pleasure of meeting this amazing woman, Alice Dang. And when I say shes amazing its an understatement. Having psoriasis and being an introvert I dread getting my hair cut, so I tend to show up looking like Captain Caveman. If you know you know. Well not only did she help me take 10 years off with a really precise cut but she also introduced me to a line of tea tree hair care products that have since improved my psoriasis! But that was the second most amazing thing. Because when she heard i was taking care of my son by myself and that his hair was in bad shape she insisted on taking care of him that same day.

I'd originally found Alice via Groupon, but call her before buying a Groupon and ask if she'll honor Groupon pricing without it. She'll probably say yes! Alice did a fantastic job with my hair. Granted, I wasn't asking for anything complicated basically just a trim to freshen up my dead ends that are still recovering from a horrible experience two years ago from another stylist). But she knew exactly what shape I wanted without my even having to describe it to her. And I love that she (being Asian herself) understood my Type 1A hair. She was friendly and chatty, which was good, since I didn't notice any magazines around. I'll be coming back to Alice again!
