Monty's is located in an unassuming location at the corner of Pershing and Manchester Ave in Playa Del Rey. There isn't a sign up front, and so you'll note it to be next to Cafe Boheme and a cross-fit gym. It's a low key, clean place that has been in the neighborhood for many years, apparently. What I like about Monty's is that, despite their tiny parking lot, you have decent prices in comparison to the rest of the neighborhood. It is $5 a shirt, and you'll get it back in decent shape, and they'll put red tape on collars that need work. For the most part, the lady that runs the place is relaxed and you may even need to call a number when coming in to get an attendant to come over from the nearby laundromat. I do think they could use more business as the pandemic has been tough on dry cleaning establishments, and they have reduced hours between 10am to 4pm. If you can't find parking, just park in the adjacent parking lot and walk your stuff over, as there is a pathway between the two lots to walk over. I hope you get to enjoy their handiwork, and know that none of your clothes will ever go missing.
