I'm so over-the-top anxious about going to the dentist that when I moved away from the Sacramento area I drove from Placerville to Elk Grove for over a year to avoid going to a new place. I finally committed to trying this office and have had such great experiences all three times that I have been there. The dentist, Matt, is friendly and doesn't push unnecessary procedures. His wife runs the practice with him, and you can see pictures of their family (and the hygienist's families) around the office. Natalie and Sarah have cleaned my teeth. They were both thorough and very sweet, and they gave helpful tips/info about how to improve my oral health and get into good habits with my one year old. I'm leaving a more detailed review in case you're as nervous as I am about going to the dentist. I'm recommending this place to anyone looking for trustworthy care.

I'm grateful to have found Golden Grove Dental. The office is clean and has a nice layout. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, my dental hygienist is always careful and thorough, and the doctor is knowledgeable, skillful, and genuinely cares for my dental health. Dr. Mat doesn't just give the same suggestion every other doctor would. He informed and educated me on a condition that's been bothering me for about 15 years and no other doctor has ever mentioned it. I did some research at home to learn more and then asked Dr. Mat to help with my condition. He was very willing to set aside time to help with my non-routine request. Hats off to Golden Grove Dental. Highly recommended.

Dr Matt is the Man!!! Wow so I had a cracked tooth got root canal then cap at the place across from Dr Matt, well unfortunately the crack continued it got infected I was put on antibiotics immediately which was ok I was told that it might happen basically the dentist called it a hail mary & let's hope it works, it did for a good 9 months, I went in to Dr Matt to have tooth removed WOW was I nervous! I was calmed very quickly by Dr Matt's staff! Then he came in to remove tooth I got numbed up really good then he pulled my tooth out, he told me it was out I said Wait it's out???!!! I am so impressed with Dr Matt and everyone here. Super friendly they listen to you talk with you inform you and continue to check on you the whole time! Very clean knowledgeable happy place! I'm actually NOT afraid to go to the dentist anymore!!! I feel like I won the lottery! Lol, so I highly suggest you give them a call and book an appt if you need a great dentist!!! Thank You Again Everyone there!!!
