“This is a great refresher course that goes over stats, laws, new laws & regulations. You have discussions, the best form of learning in my opinion. I took the Spanish course which was a morning during the week. They do English courses as well. This course is way better than having your insurance go up. Instructor was lovely. I had received a speeding ticket & this is a course that the DMV & Courts approve, which I needed. They do everything electronically & you also can receive the certificate of completion via mail. “We originally signed up with AAA, and our experience was terrible. We couldn't get an appointment as everything in the afternoons were booked months in advance. By the third appointment, my daughter had not even left the parking lot. They also only do 1 hour increments which is so annoying. I looked around for another driving instructor and found America's Driving School Walnut. They would pick my daughter up from school, and have her drive all the way home, utilizing 2 hour increments; they can do more upon request. They are patient and encouraging, even took my daughter on the freeway! Sebastian was my daughter's instructor. When giving information about the test, Carlos was very knowledgeable. She passed with only 2 points deducted! We were super grateful for their service!“

“Ali was great and accommodating! He met our daughter on a Sunday and the following Monday for her test. She used Ali's testing car (which was a newer model sedan) and he kindly waited 2 hours at the DMV after her one hour lesson Monday morning, which was over the allotted time we planned for our DMV appointment.

“I had a fairly good experience with this driving school. My son was able to pass his license test on the first try. It was really easy to do the permit questions online. And they have a texting system where you can book the behind the wheel practice. I really liked this because I'm a very busy mom with a full time job. I appreciated being able to book his behind the wheel by their texting system. Just make sure at the end of your child last lesson the instructor gives your child the form necessary for the behind the wheel driving exam. My child says he didn't get it and I had to pay to get another copy.“

“I took Chu Tuan 3 years ago for my driving lessons and to pass my driving test. I took him again today since I took 3 years off of driving and wanted to practice again with some tips for freeway and parking. His phone number is (714) 715-4612. Chu Tuan is a very nice instructor and is probably around 70. The car we used to practice has a brake and gas pedal also on the passenger seat so it does feel slightly safer. His car is pretty old I am thinking it is a 1990 Toyota so you would need to apply more pressure on the gas pedal and it is slightly hard to adjust the seat and gas pedal. I will be honest the car is easier to drive with compared to a newer car since it can't really go that fast and tends to shake a lot. It is only 30/hr and $400 for the unlimited lessons until you pass. Obviously, he would try to make you take the test early so he doesn't have to teach you anymore. It was required for two hours for a lesson so I pay $60 in total. He help me practice driving for 20 mins on the freeway and the rest was making turns, changing lane, parking and backup parking. He is very nice and when you make a mistake, he doesn't yell at you. He teaches you the basics but you would need more practice to be a skillful driver. He tells you when to turn befhorehands and often use his hand to tell you to drive slower, or to adjust your driving. He also speaks English and Vietnamese but prefer Vietnamese here. I would recommend if you want a reasonably priced instructor to teach you driving. I do see that there is alot of complaints for this school but the high expectations shouldn't be too high I would say. It is crazy CHEAP for lessons here. It is a you get what you pay for here. If you want to pay more to get better lessons, you should go to somewhere else.“

“I was overdue for traffic school for a rolling stop violation. So I called into Saigon Diamond, a lady named Duy answered and guided me very patiently the whole way, provided me alot of insight and helped me to request an extension at the court I was in assigned to. I went ahead and took the test online the same dat and passed with flying colors. Now hopefully the court and DMV lifts my point! Overall good and prompt service. I definitely would recommend!!!“
