“I've been going to another optometrist in SLO for years. My glasses were damaged and I tried to get in to see him. They couldn't take me for 1-2-3-4-5-6 weeks. I called Costco and they got me in the very next day to see Dr. Patel. That office is sure close quarters and gets crowded fast, but the staff is organized, friendly, and first-rate. Dr. Patel is superb, very gracious with her time. I was so impressed and I couldn't believe I was getting this level of service at a Costco (no offense). The staff hooked me up with new glasses that were about 50% cheaper than the other guy. I'm not going back anymore--you can find me with Dr. Patel!“

“Had a hard time with Blue shield , but ANDREA is a rock star so I was able to come see this practice for my eyes! Happy with my first apt. The doctor was personable and super cool, he answered anything I asked and explained all things he was doing prior to doing them ( which I loved) .. the gentleman who took my out of pocket was throughou and explained what I owed and why! ( also! Big plus!!!!) They are awesome. Ordered some contacts, got a pair of glasses adjusted..and checked others out.. I will be back! Thank you ALL!“

“I was in urgent need to fix my glasses because I sat on them. Not my proudest moment! I walked into Michael's Optical and received the best customer service with the biggest smiles. They approached me and asked what I needed and I asked if it was possible to get a repair. They began to work on it right away and fixed it and cleaned my lenses within no time. As I went over to pay they said it was on the house and I couldn't have been more appreciative. I am not one to write yelp reviews but this store deserves acknowledgment for their kindness.“
