Scott came out to give us an estimate and he was such a nice guy. He presented all our options and thoroughly explained everything. His bid was fair and we have our new heating and AC installation scheduled. I'll follow up with our installation experience but I trust it will be positive.
Couldn't be more pleased with our experience. We live in an older home that didn't have an existing HVAC system, so we needed the "whole nine yards". Jason was knowledgeable and took the time to recommend the best option for our home. It was a big job, but they even finished a day sooner than expected. Just in time for winter too. Thank you Jason, Lynn, Tim, and Mike!
As a retired Construction Project Manager, I've dealt with hundreds of contracts and contractors - these guys are A1 - very straightforward. Alpine installed our new combo HVAC unit a year ago. We'd just come back from an extended camping trip to find our heater was dead dead dead - and there was 4" of snow on the ground - what a homecoming! Alpine's quote was not the cheapest, but, it was reasonable and based on my interactions with Jason during his bid and follow up questions - it was obvious he knew what all of the work that was needed. A couple of the other contractors did not have any concern with the electrical wiring, but, Alpine explained why the wire was undersized for my old HVAC and why it needed to be upgraded for safety. His team showed up when scheduled and did quality work. We had some issues with my new NEST thermostat which were totally resolved after my house control wiring issues were diagnosed and fixed. 1. Bid was thorough and explanation on why he recommended a certain unit was very clear. 2. He cares about his employees and even though it might've possible to manhandle the heavy unit up to the house, we used a crane which was much safer and didn't require removing a section of our new fence. I don't mind paying to do a job the right / safe way. 3. Work was done as scheduled and all work was done with long term reliability in mind. Jason had explained that the new unit would work differently to maintain the temperature. We had no idea how much more comfortable our house would be with the new unit - we truly are enjoying how it works. I waited a year to write this review to ensure my positive experience with the installation was still justified a year later - it was!
