Cindy has done an amazing job revamping this nail salon! The chairs are comfortable and work well and the color selection is excellent. The ambiance is pleasant--lighting and decor are fresh and clean, adding an extra layer of comfort. Here, you will not be bombarded by televisions-- you can actually relax and enjoy a conversation or the feel of warm water between your toes. I usually go here for pedicures, although I witnessed several customers getting manicures. On the weekends, it's best to make an appointment. My pedicure was terrific from start to finish with great attention to detail. There was even one toenail that was torn, and the technician offered to apply a layer of acrylic to it so the nail could repair itself. She did an excellent job, and the cost was quite minimal. The leg massage was excellent and very soothing. No sense of rushing at all. If you've never been here before, you might drive right past it as Google maps makes it seem like it's in the larger shopping center behind it. It actually shares a parking lot with Mancinis Sleepworld and Jersey Mike's, so it's the first R turn (coming from downtown Petaluma) after the East Washington/South McDowell intersection. Parking is usually available.

Kim, Michael, and Tammy are all FABULOUS. I have been going to Top Nails for 2 years now and finally decided to write a review. I got a dip powder manicure from Michael today and it was one of my favorites. He is so kind! He frequently checked in with me to make sure nothing was hurting me (I have thin nails) and he complimented the color I chose multiple times. Every time I go to the salon, I'm greeted with a smile and they ask how I've been the last few weeks in between appointments. All 3 employees take their time and leave you feeling confident/refreshed. I can't recommend this place enough!

I came here for a pedicure and wax. I do have to say the floor is dusty & it doesn't seem like the cleanest facility. My pedicure was subpar at the every best. The wax she did decent on my eyebrows, left a ton of wax residue on my face, got wax in my actual hair all of which I had to get off at home. She said my chin/neck hair was too thick. She tweezed it halfway and then just left it. I assume they didn't have hard wax since I use hard wax to wax my own chin/neck because I have PCOS. She the. Proceeded to charge me for both chin/eyebrows despite my chin/neck area looking a hot mess. I will not be returning.
