Munoz Tile

From the front office staff, to the fabricators, to the installers, we had an excellent experience with Munoz Tile. Erika was amazingly patient and sweet with my endless questions. I would stop by frequently because the warehouse is very close to my home, and on the way of my daily commute. When Erika wasn't there, Melanie was equally helpful. We picked out a quartzite for our kitchen counter and it arrived within two weeks. Since Munoz only stocks quartzite, they recommended a local yard for the natural stone that we wanted for our fireplace surround. The yard delivered it to them seamlessly. Jose, the owner, came to measure with another employee. He was prompt, conscientious, and meticulous with calculations. Three weeks after our countertop was prepped and sink set into the plywood base, Gustavo and a crew of 4-5 men came to install. They covered my floors with heavy padded tarps, set up their saws and grinders in the driveway, and took the entire day installing my counters and backsplash. I love that they miter the edges of the counters, and that there are only two almost-invisible seams in my entire kitchen! Gustavo came back the next day by himself to install the fireplace surround. He was equally as meticulous, and was concerned that his crew might have nicked a cabinet the previous day. (Not the case!) They were slightly more expensive than the huge mega-installers in the East Bay, but I preferred local, AND Munoz had a better selection of countertop choices. And the mitered corners look SO much nicer. I cannot recommend them higher.

It's been just over a year now that I've gotten my tile installed and I feel like I'm looking at it for the first time every day! I Love it! I was very impressed by Jose(?) when he first showed up to look at the project and submit a bid - he was so clean-cut, and perfectly groomed. Definitely a professional appearance. On the day of installation, the 2 guys that were to install the tile arrived (on time), and Jose showed up with them. I really appreciated the personal touch and time he took with the guys to go over the details of the project. The installers were very polite and very competent at what they do. I know that some people might say "It's just subway", but with the dark grout, there's really no room for error - any offset tile will catch your eye right away. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything looking as good, if not better (because we have new tile after all) when they left. Many thanks! I would highly recommend!

Fair pricing and excellent work. Very responsive compared to other local companies we tried to reach out to. Jose, the owner is great with communication and knowledgeable. The two installers, Gustavo and his assistant were nice and professional. They took the time to get the job done right and went the extra mile to properly clean their work space and surrounding area afterwards. Highly recommend this company!
