American Sliding Door

We had 2 large metal sliding screen doors over glass doors on an outdoor patio that needed replaced due to weather corrosion of the upper and lower wheels. Our shopping included a local company that made retractable screens. Their bid was close to $3000. I had a hard time finding local companies that just made sliding screen doors to fit. One day, while grocery shopping, I saw a truck in the parking lot advertising just what I needed. I called them, and a team member the next day came to the house to measure and to provide a bid, which amounted to less than $1000 for replacing both screens. They did not require a down payment, either. Before I realized it, I received a call to set up a time for them to come over and install the screens. Mark, the very pleasant and knowledgeable service tech who came over, installed them in short order. He made sure there were no problems with the sliding screens. I would certainly hire them again.

Sad to see the negative reviews. As for us, our entire experience was positive and the process went well. They are extremely busy yet Mark squeezed us in to review what was needed to repair our sliding glass door. Interesting that local glass companies said the part needed was no longer available and we would have to buy a new slider at a cost of $2,000-2500 and plus the screen. Mark knew immediately what was wrong and said he could order the part. We also discussed a new screen for the slider plus replacing two window screens on the front of the house that has aged. His estimate was reasonable and far below the cost of a new door, so we had them order what was needed. Everything arrived within a reasonable time frame considering supply chain issues, etc. Mark and his son installed everything today in a professional manner and we are thrilled to have a working slider, new screen door with great pet mesh ( hopefully golden retriever proof) and nice looking window screens. We were so impressed that have already ordered another screen for the other slider on that side of the house plus a screen for our front door. Yes definitely a positive experience and we recommend this company!!

This was a large and somewhat expensive project. First everything was delayed because of the pandemic a few months. We had to have two real large double pained windows replaced and have tinted because of new privacy concerns. Then a screen for one of the sliding doors. Mark and Ricardo came out and estimated also five replacement screens had to be made on sight. They came 2 months later excellent communication by Steve a couple times on the wait and we paid almost half as a deposit . Mark and Ricardo came out and it was a rare heatwave and they worked really hard cutting the old windows out and installing the new ones and it was work with 23 year old house. They never stopped or took lunch just worked really hard for hours. Looks excellent and my wife loves the new windows. Will have them back to do some other needed work when they are available.
