There is no better place to take your cat. Dr. Iburg and the entire staff are so caring and extremely competent.I have been going here for over 10 years. I have had cats my whole life and I'm now 82 years old. This is the best cat clinic I've ever had. I trust them completely with my "kids". Judy Svendsen
I have to say, Dr. Iburg and her team are truly exceptional. My cat, Holly, was very sick, and the previous vet seemed more interested in their paycheck than in Holly's well-being. Despite numerous expensive tests and food trials, Holly's condition only worsened. A friend recommended Whiskers to Tails, where his brother had positive experiences with his cats. When I called, a team member explained that Dr. Iburg was limiting new patients due to staff shortages, but she would review Holly's situation and decide if she could take her on. I detailed Holly's issues and the lack of progress with the previous vet. A few days later, I received a call with available appointment times. Dr. Iburg reviewed Holly's medical history, listened to my observations, and answered all my questions. She immediately noted Holly's dull coat--a sign the other vet missed--and her abnormal weight loss. She recommended an ultrasound and x-rays. I had been saving for an ultrasound, as other places quoted $1200 - $1500. Dr. Iburg offered a much more affordable option, saying, "I charge what I think is fair." She performed the tests that day, and I returned a few hours later. Dr. Iburg went through the results with me, showing me the x-rays and explaining her observations. While she couldn't provide an official diagnosis without exploratory surgery (which she advised against due to Holly's fragile state), she suggested it looked like it could be cancer. She recommended medication to ease symptoms and a change back to her previous diet. Four days later, Holly hasn't vomited once and was even playing today--a significant improvement. There may not be a cure for Holly, but she will be comfortable and happy. When the time comes for Holly to cross the rainbow bridge, we will respect her wishes.
I knew this was going to be a special vet when we were greeted by a couple of feline ambassadors in the reception area. The staff, including the cats, were very friendly, professional and kind. The Dr. was extremely gentle and thorough with our cat. She genuinely cared about my cat's condition and my comfort. I am 100% confident that Dr. Iberg's recommended course of treatment will be the best possible. The price for our visit was reasonable and I greatly appreciate Dr. Iberg's honesty - she didn't try to oversell testing or treatment. I may have to review again so I can post another five stars. Dr. Iberg, if you read this, thank you for your help with Phoebe!
